While RO systems are good at removing fluoride, they also waste a lot of water and take out helpful minerals like calcium and magnesium, which are good for your health.

The Pure Clean Filter is a better choice for most people because it keeps the good minerals while still removing harmful things like heavy metals, chlorine, and tiny plastic particles.

If you really need all the fluoride removed, you would need an RO system, but it’s not always the best choice because it’s wasteful and can be expensive.

To keep your Pure Clean filter working well and lasting longer, it’s a good idea to clean it using the sandpaper method:

1. Remove the filter from the unit and rinse it under cold water.

2. Use the fine sandpaper that came with the filter to gently scrub the surface and remove any dirt or build up.

3. Rinse the filter well before putting it back in.

Pure Clean is made for cold and room temperature water only. Using hot water can make the filter work less effectively and might shorten its life. To keep the filter working its best, always use cold or lukewarm water. If you need to use hot water, make sure to set it to the tap water setting.
